Born in Bulgaria, Atanas Shishkov took up the guitar at the age of 11 after being inspired  from Joe Satriani and Yngwie Malmsteen quickly developed a love for the instrument.

Being addicted to players such as Greg Howe, Allan Holdsworth, Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale and Brett Garsed, Atanas initially focused on rock technique before developing a huge interest in Jazz and Fusion.

Atanas has developed his own tapping guitar style during the years.

He released 3 solo albums and 2 albums with his fusion band "Spiraless".

 

Atanas participated in many projects as a guest guitarist.  

Back in 2012, Atanas has the opportunity to meet and to play with the greatest tapping master Stanley Jordan!His playing style received high praise from Stanley.

Currently Atanas conduct guitar workshops "Spectrum Music Lab" and mini tours with his fusion band Spiraless.
